Foreign partnership

Cooperation towards foreign partnership is long term and maintained for several years. From 2013 marked strengthening of the department for this indicator. List three programs with long-term cooperation agreements and relevant institutions with which power supply department cooperates:

Eurasia Cooperation Program with the support of the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Higher Education (SIU), the project "Ukraine-Norwegian cooperation in higher education for Sustainable Energy», CPEA-2010/10050 there is bilateral agreement with the University of Telemark, Norway.

A particular advantage of the internship is worth noting the large number of students from different countries and accordingly, it is possible to see the culture and traditions of the people around the world, learn about new approaches to the educational process as lectures to attract academicians from different countries. The program of international cooperation can improve not only the qualification in the specialty, but also teach basic approaches and principles for the presentation of scientific achievements at international level.

The cooperation program Tempus IV, a project CENEAST - Modernization of educational programs in urban planning in Eastern Neighbourhood countries. Number of  Grant Agreement 530603-TEMPUS-1-2012-1-LT-TEMPUS-JPCR 2012-3071 / 001-001, in a consortium of 10 partners from 5 countries, namely the University of Bologna, Italy; Salford University, UK; Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia; Belarussian State Technical University; Grodno State University. Yanka Kupala, Belarus; Moscow State University of Civil Engineering; St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University; Kaliningrad State Technical University; Moscow State Industrial University, Russia; Network of Italian researchers and faculty of Management, Italy.

Cooperation for the Seventh Framework Programme, the project PROMITHEAS-4: Transfer of knowledge in the field of energy efficiency and climate change mitigation (ENV - Cooperation, No.265182). Including IEE NTU consortium consisting of 16 partners from 12 countries: Energy Policy and Development Centre - NKUA, Greece; National Observatory of Athens, Greece; Institute for Advanced Studies, Austria; TUBITAK - Marmara Research Center, Turkey; Scientific Research Institute of Energy - Energy Strategy Centre, Armenia; University of Belgrade - Faculty of Mining and Geology, Serbia; Institute of Power Engineering Academy of Science, Moldova; Aristotle University of Thessaloniki - Laboratory of Heat Transfer and Environmental Engineering, Greece; «Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation»; Institute for Studies and Power Engineering, Romania; Polytechnical University of Tirana, Albania; Geotechnological Problems of Oil, Gas and Chemistry - Oil; Academy, Azerbaijan; Black Sea Regional Energy Centre, Bulgaria; SRC KAZHIMINVEST, Kazakhstan; Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia.

Project UKR IEE «Implementation of energy management standards in the industry of Ukraine" implements the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF). Institute for Energy Saving and Energy Management NTUU "KPI" and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Conservation, Ministry of Environment, is a partner of UKR IEE in Ukraine. The project aims to help the Government of Ukraine to organize the implementation procedures of sustainable and efficient energy use in industry. Achieving this goal is expected by spreading the concept of industrial energy efficiency by implementing energy management systems according to international standards ISO 50000 and optimization systems that consume energy.

The main role of the department of power supply in the Project UKR IEE - providing training components. The training program includes seminars as the implementation of energy management and optimization workshops on systems that consume energy. Training varying duration: familiarization workshops - south seminars for users - two days training for experts - to six months of lectures and practical exercises of enterprises. It is also conducting specialized training courses on ISO 50000 series of standards separately for audit, consulting, energy service companies, financial institutions and politicians and government officials.
