At the Department of Power Supply (PS), favorable conditions are created for students to conduct research and reveal their scientific potential, and those who wish are actively involved in scientific work.
At the department of Power Supply there are three scientientific circles. Members of the circles share up-to-date information on experience and innovative technical solutions in the energy industry, participate in online courses and relevant events for students, in particular through the Telegram channel of the circles. In 2023/2024 the participants of the circle took part in the student online events and conferences.
For the purpose of approving their own scientific research, the annual scientific and technical conference of young scientists, graduate students and students "Energy. Ecology. Human", in which the majority of winners participate with the publication of materials in the collection of scientific works of the conference. So, for example, in the XIV conference in 2022, the students of the city took part in the conference. OE-11mp Vadym Pryshchepa, Ilya Galagan, Bohdan Perfilov, Anatoly Bespalko, etc.. In addition, according to the results of scientific research, since 2018, higher education graduates together with teachers have published more than 250 publications, among them abstracts of reports at conferences (both all-Ukrainian and international ), articles in specialized publications and in publications included in various scientometric databases.
Our students actively participate in the annual all-Ukrainian Olympiad in energy management and win prizes. This year, students of the department Daria Pluzhnyk (OE-21mp) and Bohdan Lisovyk (OH-21mn) took part in the "Black Sea Science" international competition of student scientific works, which is held annually at the Odessa National University of Technology under the auspices of the Black Sea Universities Network and ISEKI-Food Association (head of Galina Belokha) and received the 3rd prize.
Also, students of the department actively participate in international conferences "PROBLEMS IN ENERGY MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS-PEMS" and "IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ENERGY SMART SYSTEMS" organized and held by the department and competitions of student scientific works.
As part of the work of the "Smart Grid systems with distributed generation sources" group, the following events were held in 2019:

ORGANIZATION AND CONDUCT OF "OXFORD DEBATE" ON THE TOPIC "LIBERALIZATION OF ENERGY MARKETS: THE EXPERIENCE OF POLAND AND UKRAINE" IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE "ENERGY MANAGEMENT: STATUS OF DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS – PEMS'19” WITH THE PARTICIPATION OF POLISH AND UKRAINIAN STUDENTS
2. ORGANIZATION ON NOVEMBER 25-26, 2019 OF THE VISIT OF UKRAINIAN STUDENTS TO THE WARSAW POLYTECHNIC TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OXFORD DEBATE WITHIN THE VI ALL-POLISH CONFERENCE OF YOUNG ENERGY SCIENTISTS.
