Power supply department congratulates assistants Taras Baziuk and Denys Derevianko with aquission of the Ph.D. degree

The day of English language will be held in Schools of Ukraine on December 14, 2016, on the initiative of the Go Global, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the British Council in Ukraine.  During this day in Secondary Schools open lessons, Speaking Clubs and Theatrical Productions in memory of the famous poet and playwright of the United Kingdom, William Shakespeare ( «Shakespeare Day») will be conducted.

Members of the Junior Academy of Sciences came to visit the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management (IEE) of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Politechnic Institute. There they have acquainted with materials and technical and laboratoryes of IEE, met with teachers and scientists of the Institute, who told them about modern trends in energy saving and demonstrated number of laboratory posters which are used for students training on specialties: electrical power supply systems, energy management and energy efficiency..

According to the Plan of National and International Events Organization with children and pupils in 2016 (in key areas of school education), approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine the National Center "The Small  Academy of  Sciences of Ukraine" will hold  Ukrainian Nationwide Science Conference of students, members of the Small Academy of Sciences on Energy Efficiency from the 07^th to 09^th of December which will begin in Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Politechnic Institute in the Hall of Administrative Board  on December 7, 2016 from 3 p.m to 5p.m.

In cooperation with the company "NIK-electronics" department got modern power voltage for laboratory research. This unit will be used in the laboratory of electricity.

It is planned to equip the bench for the study of thyristor stabilizers volt additional type, which will conduct laboratory work to prepare students who study in "Electricity, electronics and electrical engineering."

Department staff would like to thank the management of the company "NIK-electronics" for helping to improve material and technical base of the department, which will enable joint efforts to increase the quality of training in the field of power and energy efficiency in modern electrical equipment, as well as ensure the development of innovation.

At the end of October, 2016 meeting about resources and energy efficiency was held in Solomianska state administration in Kyiv. The main purpose of the meeting was reducing energy consumption by enterprises in Solomiansky district.

The staff members of the Power supply department welcomes Vladimir Prokopenko receiving awards as leading energy manager in the post-Soviet region. This award is an international award by Association of Energy Engineers. We are pleased that our team has leading experts, which achievements marked both the national and international levels.

Pupils are very active in energy efficiency and usage of “clean” energy. On the 28-29th  of September, 2016 in Kyiv the final of the Ukrainian tournament of scientific research for pupils of 6-8 forms “Energy is Everything around us” took place under the patronage of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Our teachers cooperates with the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine.
