Biographical information
Tkachenko V. graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in 1987 with a degree in "Power Supply of Industrial Enterprises, Cities and Agriculture", qualification as an electrical engineer. In 2002, he received his second higher education at the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" in the specialty "Intelligent Decision-Making Systems", qualification Master of Computer Science.
He began his teaching career in 2005 as an assistant professor at the department.
On October 28, 2014, at the specialized academic council of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" he defended his candidate's thesis in the specialty 05.14.02 - "Power plants, networks and systems".
Since September 2015 - Associate Professor of the Department of Power Supply.
Total scientific and pedagogical experience as of September 1, 2024 is 37 years 5 months.

Reliability of power supply systems.
Scientific and pedagogical activities
Since April 1987, he has been working at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (until November 21, 2016 – NTUU “KPI”) in positions ranging from engineer to associate professor.
Educational work
Tkachenko Vadym Vladislavovych conducts lectures, practical and laboratory classes. The main courses taught by the applicant are: "Electrical networks and systems" and "Power supply systems. Part 1". Pedagogical activity corresponds to the main direction of the department.
Supervises students' course and diploma works (including master's theses).
