The Department of Power Supply contributes to conferences and seminar series on energy efficiency, energy management and smart energy systems. These events provide opportunities for staff, doctoral researchers and students to present research and exchange experience with academic and professional partners.
Energy Management: Status and Development Prospects — PEMS
This annual international scientific, practical and educational conference covers energy policy and security, smart technologies, municipal and industrial energy management, decarbonisation and specialist training. PEMS’25 took place on 18–20 November 2025. Doctoral and Master’s students from the department presented research in the digitalisation and smart technologies section.

Energy. Ecology. Human
The institute’s scientific and technical conference for young researchers presents student and doctoral research. The seventeenth conference was held on 29 April 2025, with three sections involving researchers from Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and other Ukrainian universities.

MERIT-Ukraine seminar series
In cooperation with Leibniz University Hannover through the DAAD MERIT-Ukraine project, department lecturers take part in seminars on modern teaching methods. Documented sessions in 2026 include:
- 23 April — Engaging Students with Technology: Innovative Methods and Practical Tips: digital tools, active learning and feedback.
- 21 May — Blended Learning: Storytelling in Flipped Classroom: blended learning, flipped classrooms and practical scenarios.
