Non-formal and informal education help students develop knowledge and practical skills outside their formal programme, for example through courses, training, professional events or self-study.
Recognition of learning outcomes
Such learning outcomes may be considered for recognition under the university procedure and according to their relevance to the outcomes of a particular course. Recognition follows a review and is not automatic.
- Review the relevant course syllabus and KPI regulations.
- Prepare an application and evidence of the content and outcomes of your learning.
- Submit the materials in accordance with the university procedure. A subject committee reviews them and determines whether recognition is possible.
The KPI regulations on recognition of non-formal and informal learning describe the procedure and provide document templates.
