Biographical information
Veremiychuk Yu.A. graduated from the Heat and Power Faculty of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute" in 2010 with a degree in "Computer Environmental and Economic Monitoring", qualification "Computer Systems Analyst". In 2010–2013 he studied at the postgraduate course of the National Technical University of Ukraine "Kyiv Polytechnic Institute".
In October 2015 he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Comprehensive Assessment of the Efficiency of Managing Electricity Consumption Modes" and received the scientific degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences in the specialty 05.14.01 - Energy Systems and Complexes (diploma DK No. 33232 dated December 15, 2015).
After defending his PhD thesis, he worked as an assistant and senior lecturer at the Department of Power Supply. He has been working at Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute for more than 11 years. Since February 2020 - Associate Professor of the Department of Power Supply.
As part of his scientific work, Veremiychuk Y.A. participated in the implementation of state-funded research projects commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and programs commissioned by foreign institutions, among which the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) should be noted within the framework of the Municipal Energy Reform Project in Ukraine. Head of research projects for young scientists:
- Energy-efficient fast charging systems for combined capacitive energy storage devices of the supercapacitor-storage battery type, implementation period 2020-2023.
- Research on the optimal functioning of integrated consumer energy supply systems using complex accumulation of electrical and thermal energy, implementation period
2017-2019.
Winner of the Prize of the President of Ukraine for Young Scientists 2016, awarded by the Decree of the President of Ukraine No. 509/2016, Fellow of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine 2018-2020.
Member of scientific expert councils at the ministerial level:
- Expert Council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for the examination of scientific and technical projects "Safe, Clean and Efficient Energy"
- Working Group of the Ministry of Energy for the Implementation of the Concept for the Implementation of "Smart Grids" in Ukraine by 2035 Participant of the international project "Preparation and Implementation of the Second Degree Joint Training Program - New Generation Energy (New Generation Electric Power and Energy Markets), which was funded by NAWA (Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange) under the KATAMARAN program.
In 2016, he completed training under the UNIDO program and received a certificate of national expert, expert trainer in energy service, consulting and engineering in the field of SEnM.
Has a certificate confirming a sufficiently high level of English language proficiency (B2), certificate No. 25324 dated June 19, 2019. Veremiychuk Y.A. is one of the organizers of the international conferences "Energy Management: State and Development Prospects", "Intelligent Energy Systems" and the All-Ukrainian Energy Management Olympiad. Since 2019, he has been a member of the jury of the section "Environmentally Safe Technologies and Resource Saving" of the Department of Technical Sciences of the Kyiv Small Academy of Sciences.

Educational work
Yuriy Andriyovych Veremiychuk conducts lectures and practical classes. Main disciplines: "Management of demand for energy resources", "Legal support of energy management", "Normative and technical regulation of energy conservation and energy management", "Energy management-1. Fundamentals and technologies of energy management". Pedagogical activity corresponds to the main direction of the department.
Supervises students' diploma theses (in particular, master's theses). Supervises pre-diploma practice. Reviews certification works.
Head of the scientific circle "Information Technologies for Energy Management" and the educational and scientific laboratory "Hybrid Power Supply Systems" Participates in the development of various scientific and applied projects in the field of electric power, energy conservation and energy efficiency.
