In the period from May 21 to May 25, 2018, at the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management of the KPI named after Igor Sikorsky was the representative of the University of Southeast Norway Professor Burnt Lie.
The purpose of the visit was to read the cycle of lectures in English within the ERASMUS+ program on academic mobility, as well as to discuss issues of scientific cooperation between partner universities for the purposes of the joint international educational project "Norwegian – Ukrainian cooperation on research based education in innovative sustainable and energy efficient systems" (ID: CPEA-LT-2016/10044) within the Eurasia Program of the Norwegian Center for International Cooperation in Education (SIU).
The reception of Professor Burnt Lie was carried out according to the program due to the order of the KPI named after Igor Sikorsky #3/273 dated May 19, 2018.
During the visit, all activities provided for by the reception program were carried out, in particular:
1. Meeting with the leadership of the IEE KPI named after Igor Sikorsky, discussion of the work plan, acquaintance with IEE KPI named after Igor Sikorsky;
2. Meeting with the leadership of the Department of Academic Mobility of the KPI named after Igor Sikorsky and the Ukrainian coordinator of the project "Norwegian – Ukrainian cooperation on research based education in innovative sustainable and energy efficient systems" (ID: CPEA-LT-2016/10044), exchange of experience, discussion of possibilities for further cooperation with project participants from the IEE KPI named after Igor Sikorsky;
3. Reading the cycle of lectures in English under the ERASMUS+ program on the topic “Modeling and Simulation of Energy Production using OpenModelica and Python” for masters (groups OH-71, OE-71, and OE-72), postgraduate students, and interested teachers of the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management.
During the visit, meetings were also held with the lecturers of the Power Supply Department of the IEE KPI named after Igor Sikorsky to discuss the possibilities of joint scientific cooperation on the topic "Modeling and Simulation of Energy Production using OpenModelica and Python", and acquaintance with the KPI named after Igor Sikorsky.
