The material and technical base of the Department of Power Supply includes 16 laboratories and subject classrooms. In particular, the laboratories for: "Power supply systems", "Electrical devices", "Computer Engineering and programming", "Relay protection and automation of power systems", "Alternative energy sources", "Installation and operation of electrical equipment", "Fundamentals of metrology and electrical measurements", "Accounting of consumption and generation of electric energy" etc. The material base of the laboratories is periodically updated, for example: the "RPAT-124" test complex and a number of modern electronic relays were purchased for the "Relay protection and automation of power systems" laboratory; a demonstration model of overhead lines and samples of the use of connecting couplings, a voltage stabilizer NIK STV-06 and an AVR device NIK ATS-20 were transferred to the "Power Supply Systems" laboratory; 35 Philips 22" TFT monitors were transferred to the "Computer Engineering and Programming" laboratory. In addition to the laboratories of the department, students have access to the material and technical part of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
In this video, Professor of the Department of Power Supply Volodymyr POPOV will introduce You to the laboratories and educational programs of the department:
