Representatives of the Power Supply Department of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took part in the On-Campus DAAD MERIT-Ukraine Energy Workshop held at Leibniz Univers
From 25 to 29 November 2025, representatives of the Department of Electric Power Supply of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Energy Engineering of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute took part in the On-Campus DAAD MERIT-Ukraine Energy Workshop, held at Leibniz Universität Hannover (LUH), one of Germany’s leading technical universities. The program was intensive and combined presentations, laboratory visits, discussions on joint educational programs, as well as the development of areas for scientific cooperation in energy, electric power systems, power electronics, hydrogen technologies, and high-voltage engineering. Participants learned about the history and structure of LUH, the activities of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, the LiFe2050 Energy Research Center, and the double-degree program “Renewable Energy and Electrical Power Engineering.” Special attention was devoted to the organization of the educational process, academic mobility, and the presentation of the experience of the first KPI student currently studying at LUH within the exchange program.
